Men are Dogs: A Woman's Guide to Choosing Her Breed of Man

by Jeannette Wright

At first glance, this book might conjure up images of an author who doesn't think much of men. Not so. Ms. Wright points out that men and dogs are wonderful, and her book is full of incredible details, stories, and illustrations that make her message fun and insightful. She explains how men's personalities and dog breeds share common characteristics. By learning about the type of breed a man resembles, a partner can appreciate those differences, rather than judge them (or worse, try to change them.) With a deeper understanding of the differences among men, women can learn to choose a man whose qualities she adores, or appreciate those of the man she's already chosen.

The book also provides an opportunity for men to learn about themselves in a light, respectful manner. Who doesn't enjoy learning more about themselves?

Norwegian Elkhound Illustrations of the breeds, hand-drawn by Mike McCartney, represent the attributes with uncanny fidelity. While Men are Dogs makes the perfect gift for any single woman, it also can help married women to appreciate their husband's for the unique qualities their breed represents.
